SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA
NSW Agriculture Minister, Adam Marshall has tested positive to coronavirus.
Mr Marshall and three of his National Party colleagues – Trevor Khan, Steph Cooke and Ben Franklin – were ordered into isolation yesterday after being told they had visited a casual contact venue of a positive COVID-19 case.
The four had eaten dinner together in Sydney on Monday night. All attended NSW Parliament on Tuesday.
Mr Franklin and Mr Khan are members of the Upper House, while Ms Cooke and Mr Marshall sit in the Lower House.
Mr Marshall is the Nationals member for the NSW Northern Tablelands.
He confirmed his positive test on live radio this morning while speaking with 2GB host, Ben Fordham, telling him he had contracted the virus “no doubt from the pizza joint I went to on Monday evening”.
Mr Marshall visited Christo’s Pizza in Paddington on Monday night with the three other MPs now in isolation
A positive case from the growing Bondi cluster had also attended the pizza shop while infectious.
