Attorney-General, David Parker, has announced the appointment of 10 King’s Counsel today.
Mr Parker said the criteria for appointment recognise that excellence and leadership in the profession should be viewed through a wider, community lens.
“I am pleased to see that the profession continues to make a good contribution to access to justice, which is reflected in the appointments I am making today,” he said.
The newly appointed Silks are:
Northland – Catherine Cull
Auckland – Bronwyn Carruthers (pictured), Nicholas Chisnall, David Cooper, Tiffany Cooper, Jason Goodall, Simon Mitchell
Wellington – Andrew Butler
Christchurch – Stephanie Grieve, Lisa Preston
