The Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko is calling for nominations for three new members of the Security and Reliability Council.
It is the opportunity to be an independent advisor to the Authority on the performance of the electricity system and System Operator, and on security of supply issues.
The Authority is looking for nominations from people in governance, executive or senior management roles responsible for, or experienced in:
- electricity generation, particularly thermal, solar, batteries and emerging technologies;
- demand-side flexibility and consumer advocacy;
- power system operations and performance.
To make a nomination, complete and return the SRC nomination form by 9 September 2025 to OperationsConsult@ea.govt.nz.
Successful nominees will be appointed for a three-year term, starting 1 April 2026.
