Updated COVID traveller hotspot list released

The Ministry of Health has updated its list of locations for people who may be contacts of an Australian tourist who tested positive for COVID-19 after visiting Wellington at the weekend.

“Contacts who attended one of the locations in New Zealand during the relevant timeframes are asked to follow the directions,” the Ministry said in a statement.

“The Australian traveller from Sydney who visited Wellington from Saturday 19 June to Monday 21 June has tested positive upon return to Australia.

“We will update this table as new information is available.”

The Ministry said additional time has been added on either side of each visit to ensure they reach all potential contacts.

“As a result of this, you will notice that some times may overlap.”
