Manatū Hauora – Ministry of Health has today advised that publication of the 2022/23 New Zealand Health Survey results has been delayed due to a data error.
The survey had been scheduled for publication tomorrow (23 November).
“The decision to delay publication is a result of a data error found late in the analysis process,” the Ministry said in a statement.
“The results will be published when we have full confidence in the quality of the data.
“We will confirm the new publication date shortly and publish it on our website.”
The New Zealand Health Survey has been providing information about the health and wellbeing of New Zealanders since 1992/93. It is a key data source for the health sector, providing population-level data on health status, long-term conditions, health behaviours and risk factors, health service utilisation and barriers to accessing health care.
