Fleetcoach named Australasian safety champion

Christchurch-based company, Fleetcoach, has been crowned best fleet safety product at the 2023 Australasian Fleet Champions Awards for its online driver training platform.

The annual awards, sponsored by Waka Kotahi, celebrate the achievements of fleet organisations working to reduce road deaths and injuries and improve fleet sustainability.

Fleetcoach Chief Operating Officer, Craig Cockerton says the awards evening brings together the best in the industry from across Australasia, so to be named winner was great recognition.

“It was fantastic to be in a room of around one hundred people from both sides of the Tasman, who are all dedicated to improving road safety and sustainability outcomes for fleets, workplaces and their wider communities. To walk away with the title of best fleet safety product is a wonderful affirmation from our clients and industry peers,” he said.

“Our training invites drivers to be ‘force multipliers’, giving them the skills and tools to be safer drivers for themselves and easily share those skills with friends and family.”

Caroline Perry, spokesperson for Brake, acknowledged Fleetcoach along with the other award winners and category sponsors.
