Join Auckland Council in celebrating Tongan Language Week with two FREE Kahoa Workshops by artist Sione Monū.
This workshop connects with Sione Monū’s experimental work with nimamea’a tuikakala or the Tongan fine art of flower design.
Visitors will be invited to sit down, take some time out and create their own contemporary kahoa or garland with fresh flowers.
The workshops are suitable for adults and children accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
There are limited spaces; please register (although drop-ins are welcome).
Both locations have wheelchair access.
