Invercargill council extends TechnologyOne partnership

Invercargill City Council has extended its partnership with TechnologyOne until 2032, with an upgrade to the market-leading SaaS+ platform across the entire organisation.

The uplift covers Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Human Resources (HR), giving Council real-time visibility of asset health, smarter planning, faster service delivery, and a stronger focus on the needs of the community. Water assets are included as part of the broader Asset Management rollout.

“This upgrade helps us fix problems faster, plan smarter and deliver more reliable services—good for residents today and for the city’s future,” said Council Chief Executive, Michael Day.

“By moving to a single, secure SaaS+ platform, we’re reducing complexity and improving performance across every part of Council. It’s a smarter, faster and more sustainable way to deliver value for our community.”

TechnologyOne’s integrated SaaS+ delivery model provides end-to-end asset intelligence and streamlined operations, combining real-time data, planning and reporting. It also gives Council complete control over documents and records, ensuring compliance and efficiency, while modernising HR processes to attract and support staff.

“Invercargill is building a future-ready foundation. One platform across EAM, PLM, ECM and HR means better performance and resilience through to 2032 and beyond,” said New Zealand Country Manager at TechnologyOne, Ben Sheehan.
