Hastings District Council is reminding residents that the Local Water Done Well consultation will close at 5pm this Sunday (15 June).
The consultation asks the community to consider three options for how drinking water, wastewater, and urban stormwater services could be managed in the future, and to tell Council which option they prefer.
The total number of submissions received to date has reached 780. The Council says community feedback will help shape its final decision.
Submission forms are available online at www.myvoicemychoice.co.nz, and at all Hastings District libraries, the Council’s customer service centre, and Waiaroha – Heretaunga Water Discovery Centre.
