Napier City Council has announced the appointment of a new chief executive officer.
Louise Miller (pictured) will take up the position on Monday 13 March.
Her most recent role was as Chief Executive of Kaipara District Council for a period of four years.
Mayor, Kirsten Wise says she was thrilled with Louiseās appointment and looking forward to working with her.

Ms Miller has also previously held key positions at Tauranga City Council and Dacorum Borough Council in Hertfordshire, England, as well as in Kaipara.

Louise Miller holds degrees from the University of Leicester and the University of London, and is an experienced leader of transformational change. She was chair of TaituarÄ Workforce Committee until late last year and has been awarded the TaituarÄ 2021 AskYourTeam Melbourne Business School Leadership Scholarship.
