Foreign Minister, Winston Peters, has announced two new diplomatic appointments.
Georgina Roberts (pictured, right) has been appointed as New Zealand’s next High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea.
Ms Roberts has previously served as High Commissioner to Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.
Aramiro Tai Rākena (pictured, left) has been appointed as New Zealand’s next Ambassador to Brazil.
Prior to this appointment, he served as the Counsellor for Trade, Economy, and Environment and Acting Deputy Head of Mission at the New Zealand Embassy in Beijing, China.
