The New Zealand Film Commission has welcomed the appointment of Sharon Menzies to its Board of Directors.
Renowned for being a strong advocate of the film industry, Ms Menzies (pictured) brings more than 25 years of expertise specialising in film financing across Aotearoa/New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom, the Commission said in a statement.
While in the United Kingdom, Ms Menzies reviewed the library for BBC Films, worked with Portman Film and Television and was an independent advisor to Scottish Screen.
