The Tekapo Community Board last week received the New Zealand Sunshine Cup in recognition of Tekapo being the sunniest town in the country in 2023.
The cup was first awarded in 2010 by the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA) and is passed to the winning town each year.
