Tauranga City Council has confirmed the interim appointment of Gareth Green (pictured) as Acting Chief Executive following the resignation of Marty Grenfell last week.
The Council also confirmed it will commence a recruitment process to appoint a permanent Chief Executive.
“The Mayor and Councillors will consider next steps for the appointment process during a Public Excluded session at the Council meeting on 20 October,” the Council said in a statement.
