
Parliament in Practice provides attendees with a unique opportunity to learn about the operations of Parliament from those working within Parliament walls and tasked with supporting Parliament.
Join Hāpai Public for this one day in-person workshop where participants will gain an introductory overview of the roles and functions of Parliament.
As part of this workshop participants will:
– Develop an understanding of the functions of Parliament.
– Explore the passage of legislation, select committee and cabinet processes.
– Consider strategies for working with Ministers
– Go on a tour of Parliament
This event is being held in person and will not be live streamed.
Who should attend
The seminar is designed for departmental and crown entity kaimahi who want to develop an understanding of the functions and processes of Parliament. Please note this is an introductory level seminar.
